NEW RACK BASE IN ALUMINIUM ARB 4X4 ACCESSORIES.
After years of design and manufacturing tests, ARB is launching a new roof gallery that will leave no one indifferent. BASE RACK brings an innovative and revolutionary design: ultra-legant, with a very small distance from the ceiling, offering multiple customization options and very easy to install. - The first ARB roof gallery was built in 1975. Today, 45 years later, BASE RACK arrives on the market with the intention of covering all the needs of amateurs and professionals during their journeys in France 4x4. No more problems with height (less distance to the ceiling) and mooring (several solutions to fix the load). At the Australian plant, ARB deployed all the design and engineering efforts to produce a roof gallery that rises as close to the roof as possible, is light and solid and is not likely to bend due to excessive load. Made with extruded aluminium beams and each beam in a single piece, they are placed transversely (they exercise more rigidity and less bending possibility), also facilitating the transport of long and narrow elements. The entire roof gallery is welded and no screws or rivets have been used, with the exception of corner trims that can be removed to introduce wiring, which added to a wide range of very low supports (feet) give it a solid and elegant final result. . One of the main features of BASE Rack is its ability to adapt to our needs. The new ARB roof gallery is sold as a flat frame and can easily be transformed into a traditional roof gallery (with a perimetric basket) that covers 100% of the roof gallery, or we can simply add railing sections depending on the load. BASE Rack rail system is available to cover the entire rack, 3/4, 1/4 or just the sides. The rails quickly and easily attach to the existing profile around the frame. Thus, the owner can customize the roof gallery to his liking with a complete guardrail system that installs and uninstalls in minutes. The perimetric profile of the roof gallery and the interior beams have a rail designed to mount the stowage points (rings, straps, hooks, etc.) that will simplify the mounting of the load on the roof gallery. Another feature that distinguishes BASE RACK is the incorporation of a revolutionary system that allows accessories and cargo to be fixed and removed in a much simpler, effortless, faster and safer way. ARB puts on the market six different sizes to adapt to a wide range with more than 100 vehicle applications and a range of complementary accessories that increases every day, positioning this ARB product as the new reference for roof bars due to its strength and mounting possibilities.
