Required for wiring from the interior of the passenger compartment to the basic luggage rack.
Traditionally, wiring accessories installed on roof bars involved pulling the installation through the windscreen, between the door openings and the B-mount. As part of the evolution of the ARB BASE Rack, ARB engineers have developed a solution for wiring installations from inside the vehicle to outside in an orderly and clean manner.
Two wiring kits were developed. A kit is pre-wired with 6 wires (3 circuits) and the second kit is provided for 6 wires allowing different wires according to the needs of use.
Key criteria during development included:
• Waterproof solution for cable passage through the roof of a vehicle.
• Perfect integration with ARB BASE Rack.
• Output eyelets to fit standard 10 mm (3/8") and 13 mm (1/2") external diameter ducts.
• High quality automotive wire according to JASO standards (PN 1780400 only).
• Free of liquid adhesives.
• Disconnection kit for closing and closing the crossing points on the roof when the gallery is removed (ref: ARB -1780620)
